Guus Hiddink: "We always play away matches at Europa League"

The pre-match press conference with the head coach of FC Anji Guus Hiddink took place in Alkmaar:

- The first match held in Moscow was hard, but we managed to gain win. In general the matches vs the Dutch are notable for the fight that is first of all based on the tactics. For the moment it`s hard to say what tomorrow`s match will turn out. Our target is to go further. We arrived here aiming to win, we`ll play for a victory.

Of course for Anji it`s important to advance to the group stage but the most important is to build a team, work with a long-term perspective. We have both young players and experienced footballers, this is the basis on which we`ll build a new team.

If we go further at the Europa League we might have problems with the depth of the squad as we`ll face much more matches.

Where will Anji host the opponents in case of its promotion to the group stage? There is no choice. UEFA decided to ban hosting of home matches in Makhachkala. Thus we`ll receive the opponents in the Moscow region. It`s not yet clear whether it`ll be Lokomotiv stadium or arena in Ramenskoye.  The difference in the atmosphere on the Moscow stadiums and in Makhachkala is great, indeed. Dagestani fans are special, they root for the team as passionately as they do in the South, wind up the team. Why does Anji play away matches of the Europa League better than home games? We have never played the Europa League matches at home. We always held away matches. But really it turns out that Anji demonstrates more impressive results at the guest games.
